As we get older we have a lot more things to worry about, especially in the teenage years. When being a teenager, all we want to do is have fun but it's not that easy! Theres school work, exams, friendships, relationships and even family problems to worry about but maybe theres so much stress because so much pressure is put on us. We want to make everyone happy with what we do which makes us want to try even harder and we can get so muddled up with things. We need to learn to set things out at a reasonable pace and learn to time keep well. For example, if it's homework thats dragging you down and stressing you out then create a timetable of when you are going to do each piece of work. It can effect a person drastically and their behaviour towards others or themselves. Stress could lead to&amp;nbsp;depression which could then get serious if not dealt with. Every day, nearly 3,000 young people under the age of 18 become regular smokers and over half (55 per cent) of pupils had drunk at least one alcoholic drink in their lifetimes, while 45 per cent said they had never had a proper alcoholic drink. The proportion who have never drunk alcohol has risen since 2003 (39 per cent) &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Drinking and smoking at such a young age is incredibly dangerous but yet more and more people do it, is it to fit in or to seem "cool"?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Drinking : &lt;/strong&gt;It's fine to have the occasional drink when at a party or with friends and family, but when it starts gettin out of hand, thats when it harms you. The brain continues developing into our early 20's so drinking a lot at such a young age can seriously effect your mind aswell as other vital organs in your body.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Smoking: &lt;/strong&gt;Smoking is dangerous for anyone, especially teens. When smoking at an earlier age it can seriously affect you, both on the outside and on the inside. When being a teen you want to obviously look your best and try your hardest to keep up your appearance but smoking can affect this. Something that some of us may enjoy or some of us may hate. When it comes to exercising to keep fit and get into shape, it's normally boring which puts us off of doing it. The exercise most of us know of are running laps or doing sit up or push ups, that's not fun! There are, however, many fun exercises you can do such as dancing (the fun, cheesy dance videos also work to make exercise fun), trampolining&amp;nbsp;and even&amp;nbsp;going to the gym&amp;nbsp;with a friend can always make it more fun. There are&amp;nbsp;many important issues to do with&amp;nbsp;wanting that great looking body, anorexia is one of them. Anorexia is a disorder many people come across as they are too afraid to gain weight so they stop eating or eat very small portions. The average calorie intake of a person with anorexia nervosa is 600-800 calories per day, but there are extreme cases of complete self-starvation. Some people believe anorexia is a result with being obsessed with your figure. &lt;br /&gt;Anorexia is closely related to bulimia which is also an eating disroder. Those who suffer from bulimia&amp;nbsp; restrain of food intake for a period of time followed by an over intake or binging period that results in feelings of guilt and low self-esteem. To over come this feeling of guilt they begin defensive vomitting some times called purging. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;Anorexia and bulimia are both very serious and dangerous eating disorders which can result in hospital treatment. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"&gt;We see many celebs and models in magazines literally dying to be thin whcih young girls then follow and look up to. No, healthy eating is about looking after your body in the right ways. Learning to eat healthy can boost energy, sharpen your mind and make you feel tons better.&amp;nbsp;You can expand your range of healthy food choices and learn how to plan ahead to create and keep up a healthy diet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Healthy Tip 1:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Change your diet gradually to help your body get used to it. Take baby steps towards your ideal healthy diet.&lt;br /&gt;Depriving yourself from "bad foods" make you crave them more, so cut down on them gradually and your craving should decrease. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Healthy Tip 2: &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast is the key meal, this is what starts you off in the morning. Eat a good size portion of cereal and then to snack on, eat a piece of fruit. Drink plenty of water throughout the day with small portions following.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Healthy Tip 3:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Eat a rainbow of foods, the brighter they look on your plate the better. Eat a variety of fruit and vegetables aswell as meats and proteins.&amp;nbsp;Eating&amp;nbsp;healthy carbohydrates and fiber sources, especially whole grains, gives long lasting energy. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Healthy Tip 4: &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Healthy diets are not restricting to yourself to foods you think are healthy, some "bad foods" aren't all that bad. Your body needs some of that bad stuff to function too, to keep it balanced.
